Fresh Manna---The trip to Nazareth

As the apostle Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5:17,
"Pray without ceasing." We strongly believe in a fresh word from the Lord through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. When we remain in the attitude of prayer, we will hear His voice. Since the Old and New Testament parallel each other---we see that we are told to partake of the "fresh manna" daily. The Lord prepares our hearts in advance to recieve His perfect will in all things. Not long ago, I knew that I was being called to a missions trip. I had no idea what, where, or when. The doors opened up recently. I was asked (by Sister Mary Catherine--a teacher @ Seton), to be a chaperone on a missions trip to an impoverished area of West Virgina (Doddridge County) in the Appalachin Mountains. Nazareth Farm [www.NazarethFarm.org] was established by a Catholic Priest from Seton Catholic Central High School. Sister Mary Catherine asked me if I needed to pray about it or even ask my husband (Steve). I gave her my immediate reply---YES, I will go. This trip will be the week of "Winter-Break" in February. Father Donovan of St. James Catholic Church Is planning the trip and also will be a chaperone. I will write more as it unfolds. When we are in the practice of "praying without ceasing" as the scripture speaks of, we will say yes without hesitation when opportunity knocks! As most of you know, my heart has been for unity among the brethren. It looks as though this has begun. Blessings to you all,

Tammy---a servant of Christ
