Friday we had a really great time at the Common Grounds Coffe House. What a blessing. Click the more link below to read more about that night. Also Saturday we did more construction at The Well, looking foward to some great times this summer.
First let us say that Saturday we had help from our brother Tim with doing some minor construction to help us get ready for the local code enforcement officer to inspect or facilities at The Well. We are gearing up to make a bigger effort this summer. We really need all the support you can give us. Come help us develop other Christian ministries and be blessed in the process! Friday Night was a really good night for us. We received a very warm welcome at the United with Christ family. We were very impressed with the good work they have done and the spirit they have there. We don’t know the whole story but they really seem to be a body that puts there faith to work, showing that there faith is very much alive! Ok, they have a huge building. You can't not see that at first glance, but that is not what they are about. We were told of the blessing they received in getting the building and that was awesome that they would step that far out on faith. But the best part was how they all came together and cleaned and made it work for them. They worked together to ready the building for the church and they developed a close bond with one another. For a long time know we have been saying the building is not the church and we mean it. Friday we had been blown away by the spirit of worship that came to the coffee house. For us, the worship has never gotten so deep in a coffee shop setting. One brother was playing scrabble with some others and said he was moved by worship and could not concentrate on the game, and that his game mates would not accept words in tongues :-). But the worship was deep and that all as to do with the people of that church and we were really blessed. Later on we had complemented the pastor and said that he had a really nice church. His response was that "Yes they are a really good group of people." These Guys Get It! |
