Long Awaited Update

We Know it's been a while since there has been content add to the site but it is not because we aren't doing anything. As the usual story goes we have been really busy. The Well is going good and we have had many talented artists there and have more coming. Sherry and Fay hope to be moved into the apartment in the back which should free up time to do the many things God has given to us all to do. This Saturday night we will be filling in at The Well. We'd really like to see you all so come on out. We will have yet another web site update the will help us keep the site updated and add the ability for you all to leave comments for us and the other visitors. Speaking of visitors, it looks like January is going a record month for unique visitors. Last August has our record to date at just fewer than 500 different visitors and last month we had almost 60,000 hits. The song for Aaron and Shauna's wedding is being played a whole lot the last 6-8 weeks. Bear with us we have many more new songs we need to record. God is really blessing us with really good worship songs and our style is really starting to develop. We look forward to start recoding before spring. We have an artist who has played at the well coming at the end of Jan. to record up to 3 songs as a trial recording. We are excited about this part of our ministry starting to develop. Stay tuned. We know it has been a while since we have update the sit at all. Between the The Well construction both physical and cyber and all the other things we all still have to do we have just had no time at all. We have a new song that We have just posted call With All That I Am. It is a song that we wrote for Sherry's son Aaron Shepard and his new Wife Shauna Bemis (now Shauna Shepard). Give it a listen and let us know what you think. We wrote and recorded the song in 2 weeks time. Fay had a few up to 1 am days rushing it to get done. Please keep us in prayer. We will have the building code enforcement officer at The Well Wed 9/28 at 3:30. Please pray that God has his way and that we will be able to keep our opening on track. This is a very big deal and we need God's favor to get through it. By ourselves we would fail so, this is really important to us to petition God's help and blessings. 09-29-2005 Update! .... Friday night we traveled up to Palmyra to worship at Impact Theater. We met some really great brothers and sisters there. There was a passion for Jesus there and you could tell that they have set Him as the standard there. We got to minister to people there beyond the music with personal prayer time and fellowship. Ivy, We appreciate your boldness in seeking help for your friend and worshiping God. Frank, we love your heart and we're sorry we made you nervous with all the equipment we had, we can't help but have a little fun. We're also glad for you helping us get the right volume for you attendees. And Las but not least, K. J. (beans) was really great to meet you. Good luck learning the guitar. Let us know if we can help you.
On Saturday night we were at Gery's Barber shop. Being as busy as we have been the last few months we forgot to include this event on our web site. We had a great time there worshiping with everyone. We really love Gery, Lila, Bev, and the rest down there. We thank you for your support and friendship over the last few years. Prayer Request. Please keep us in prayer. The three of us have been working every day to get The Well ready for our grand opening October 1st. This Friday morning we had the health department inspect us. They passed us and can have our permit on Tuesday. We have before and after pictures that we will be posting as soon as we can get a break. Also the The Well web site will be constructed as soon as we can. All we really want is to make a difference in peoples lives. To create a place to come and be with people who would help us uphold Jesus' standard in our lives. We'd like to see Gods sons and daughters live not as orphans but strong, victorious and confident, not as only children but as each others sisters and brothers. Buy things or not, but come and establish family ties with each other.
Thursday nights 6:30pm we will start a "book club" where we will be going through the Purpose Driven Life book. This book was the book that Ashley Smith, calmed an alleged killer and her captor with. By reading an excerpt from it and talking with him about God she escaped a horrible, but glorious situation. Not to pile too much emphasis on the book, ( we all know that the power of God is what really moved here) but that power comes in part though some one that holds Jesus as a standard and obviously has a purpose. Buy the book if you can or, in faith buy and extra one for some one who can't. Also by faith if you can't afford one, come any way! Or if you need a ride let us know. We had just under 10000 hits by 478 unique visitors in August. While that may not be may in comparison to some sites, we are happy with the blessing.
