Sweet rain was written in 2003. Wow that seems like an eternity ago. I'm still sitting here waiting on the Lord's return. I know He is coming SOON but sometimes soon is not soon enough. 

Cleanse me, Help me, Guide me, Teach me - the first line of each verse and the cry of my heart. The closer i get to the Lord, the harder it is for me to walk the lonely empty streets of this world. It is even harder to look into the blind eyes and empty hearts of the lost.

I pray that someday i will be able to touch those blind eyes and show them the way to the light. It is the desire of my heart that the words i write will someday, somehow, someway soften those hard, empty hearts so that the love of the Lord can pour in and fill their lives with hope and love.

Faith - walking blind through the darkness.

Hope - in the love that conquered pain and death
